pa·la·dár: palate, taste
In Cuba, paladares are small family-run restaurants serving home-style Cuban cooking. At Paladar Café Cubano we honor our Cuban and Colombian heritages and invite you to enjoy the bold flavors and the down-home comfort appeal of soulful Latin cooking.
Rita Abraldes and Maria Victoria Khan opened Paladar Café Cubano in July of 2007, following a close friendship and business relationship that began at Charanga Restaurant in San Francisco's Mission District, of which Rita was a co-founder. Rita and Vicky infuse their passion for quality food, warm hospitality and Latin flavor into a unique and appealing combination of tradition and innovation.
